Contributions to our research will really be appreciated. Please feel free to contact the maintainer if any contributions, corrections or modification need to be made to the documents and tools contained in this site.

Most of the scripts are written in the Perl programming language and require the Net-Patricia Perl Module and Net-Whois Perl Module.

Weblog Post Processing Tools

  • Splits the Weblog file into two files. One file contains IPs within the Philippines and the other file contains IPs outside the Philippines. [logsplit.pl]
  • Summarizes the amount of traffic within the Philippines and sorts the matching providers according to web traffic. [bytesbreakdown.pl]
  • Simple vBulletin Weblog analyzer that returns a sorted list of vBulletin threads. [showthread.pl]
  • More complete version of bytesbreakdown.pl that contains a sorted list of popular external providers and many other features. [study.pl]

Proxy Logs Post Processing Tools

  • Parses the Proxy Log files and generates a usage summary based on a configuration file similar to that of the PH-IP listing. [squid-split-enh.pl]
  • Parses the Proxy Log files and generates a sorted list of top websites accessed based on usage. [squid-top-site.pl]

Internet Resources Section

  • Philippine Network Mapping Project (w/ DOST-ASTI) [HTTP]
  • Philippine IP Block Listing [PH-IP.txt]
  • Philippine ASN Listing [PH-ASN.txt] [Automatically Update Weekly]
  • Common Non-PH Source IP Block Listing [EXT-IP.txt]
  • Script to clean the ARIN network.txt. [arin-extract.pl]
  • Script to clean the APNIC monthly allocation summaries and extract both PH IPv4 and ASN Resources. The script accepts two arguements. One for the List of Philippine IP Addresses (PH-IP.txt) and the second one for the List of Philippine ASNs (PH-ASN.txt). The script will not verify the IPs and ASNs if they are already on the list. [apnic-extract.pl] [generate-PH-AS.sh]
